Bina Thakker
I've worked at Goldbeaters for a long time and I love the children and school community dearly. I'm committed to supporting anyone that needs help and trying my best to make the lives of all of our pupils better.
My passions include going to my dance class, travelling and spending time with family and friends. I love elephants and would love to visit an elephant sanctuary in the future.
Rachel Shear
For the last 18 years I have been privileged to work with, get to know and help incredible children and families in the local area. I absolutely love my job but also love being with my own fabulous kids and family, walking my dog, going to new places, being in the sunshine and having lots of fun.
Chris Flathers
I love coming up with creative ways to help others, hence the charity name "Bright Yellow Thinking". I love making lives better in my role as Principal of Goldbeaters and The Orion. It is a real passion and lots of fun!
I also love the fresh smell of coffee, starting my day at 4AM, listening to music (especially in Ibiza), playing a character called the "Do It Dude" and being with my wonderful family
Annie Hindle
I am proud to have been associated with The Orion since it’s conception in 1999 and with the Goldstar Federation once it was born in 2004. I love working with so many brilliant and inspirational children, in particular those with any additional challenges in their lives. I also love being active outdoors whether that is walking my dog, being in the garden or allotment or being on the beach in Norfolk. I feel very fortunate to have a great working and family life and am very pleased to be part of the BYT helping other families feel similar.
Claire Moloney
I love working at Goldies with such a great team, teaching such incredible children!
I love heading out for brunch on the weekends with my daughter and husband, I love hot chocolate and long walks!
One of my favourite things is to travel back home to the Emerald Isle to visit family and friends.
Tom Remnant
I've worked in Primary Schools for over 10 years and I enjoy helping children and adults - usually with their IT problems! I'm looking forward to helping the BYT Project and the local community. I love going to see live sport, especially football and I am a season ticket holder at Boreham Wood FC.
Vicky Dawes
My passion in life is sport so in my spare time I love going for long bike rides with my husband, cross county running with my sister and open water swimming as I am a firm believer in the philosophy of healthy body healthy mind. I have been working at Goldbeaters Primary School since 2001 and in 2008 became Deputy Head. I enjoy being the deputy head as it enables me to work with amazing
people, wonderful children, fantastic families and work across the Goldstar Federation. I also love watching scary movies and spending time with my friends and family.
Richelle Cotter
Hi I'm one of the Ast Dep Heads at Goldbeaters. I am from Ireland and have been working at the Goldstar Federation for 10 years. I really enjoy playing sports and play netball and tag rugby each week.
I love to read and listen to music. I really believe in having a positive attitude and outlook in life! The Federation is a wonderful place to work and our children are amazing. This is why it is such a pleasure to be involved in the charity and to help as many children and families as we can.
Nic Young
I have been working for the Goldstar Federation for 13 incredible years. Although my main role is working with our Key stage one children and overseeing the broader curriculum, most children I’ve encountered think I’m the ‘funny tall one’. Which is okay by me!
I think I was meant to be involved with the Bright Yellow Thinking Foundation because my outlook on life ‘ Be positive’ is both the BYT foundation’s ethos and my own blood type!
When I’m not at work, I enjoy exploring London with my camera taking photos of sunsets and buildings. You might also find me drinking coffee, sketching puns or writing ‘to do’ lists! But most of all I enjoy surrounding myself with great people, great experiences and lots of laughter.
Luisa Nocerino
Hi I'm Luisa! I spend my time helping to transform children into avid readers and remarkable writers - its a wonderful job! I truly believe that young people have a spark of magic within them that needs to be found and fueled....the BYT project will help us do this! In my spare time I enjoy good food, good music (reggae is my favourite) and good company-just the simple things in life.
Michelle McDonald
I have a real Passion for doing something a bit different, always trying to think out of the box! BYT is perfect for this! Being a worldly person helps me to be more compassionate towards others. My role is to bring out the best in people whether that be through their talents, desires, ideas or day to day life. I enjoy live music, travelling and time with friends (usually shopping).
Jayden Ellis
I’m passionate about inspiring children to reach their potential and proud to have dedicated my working life to play-based early years education, supporting families, and involving parents in their children's learning. Over the past 13 years I’ve worked at both Goldbeaters and Orion schools and been very fortunate to work with some of the most talented, hard-working and effective teachers and leaders you can imagine. The BYT Project is a chance for us to have some fun and do some exciting things for the community.
